Privacy Policy
Greattanningbeds.com (GTB) has adopted a set of information management guidelines which will be the basis for our relationship between customers and advertisers. This policy has been developed with the realization that internet technologies are evolving rapidly, and because of this, the underlying business models are not fully established. Accordingly, these guidelines are subject to change without advance notice. Any such changes will be updated on this page.
- What information does GreatTanningBeds.com gather and/or track about you?
GTB requires that customers and affiliates supply personal identifying information, including e-mail addresses, during a registration process prior to accessing some portions of the website and making a purchase. (Some of the personal information we request is voluntary – these fields are indicated as “not required.”) Occasionally, GTB will also collect additional personal information from subscribers in the optional contest and survey forms. Demographic information provided by a subscriber may be combined with usage statistics to profile, in aggregate form, users and their preferences in site content and advertising.
GTB also logs IP addresses, which indicate the location of your computer on the internet, for system administration and troubleshooting purposes. We also log IP addresses to track a user’s session, but do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable. This information is collected by our web statistics program, which we use to determine generalized interest in different sections of our site.
- What does GreatTanningBeds.com do with the information it gathers and/or tracks?
GTB may analyze statistics of user behavior in order to measure relative consumer interest in the various areas of our site, for service developmental purposes and to inform advertisers how many consumers have seen their advertising banners. We will disclose information to third parties only in aggregate form during these statistical analyses. However, personal information on individual subscribers will not be provided to any third party.
Using the e-mail addresses provided at registration, GTB will periodically send promotional e-mails to its subscribers about new products or promotional offers from GTB and its advertisers. A user can indicate on the subscriber registration form that he or she does not wish to receive any e-mail information from GTB or its advertisers. GTB may also contact subscribers regarding account status or changes to the subscriber agreement.
- With whom does GTB share the information it gathers and/or tracks?
GTB shares tracking information, in aggregate form, with advertisers and other partners. We do not sell or share e-mail addresses with third parties or advertisers. GTB will provide subscribers a summary of his or her personal information that was provided at the time of registration upon the subscriber’s request. This information will only be sent to the e-mail address on file that is associated with the subscriber’s name, in order to protect their privacy from unauthorized requests.
Upon request, GTB will remove any subscriber or customer, and his or her personal information, from our database, or allow any subscriber to “opt out” of receiving further contact, while still allowing access to this site, or change / correct personal information that the subscriber states is erroneous.
